           Elizabeth Quinn was born on 16 May 1945 at Waterbury, Connecticut..5,6
     Betty was active in the Waterbury Teachers' Association. She served as a WTA respresentative, on the grievance committee and executive baord, and as second vice president. She also served as one of the chief negotiators on several contracts.7
     Both her advocacy for fellow teachers and her community involvement reflected her core values of giving back and helping others. Fiercely loyal and genuinely caring, Betty was the anchor of her family and a true friend to many. She had an abiding belief in the basic goodness of people and she acted accordingly every day of her life.8
     Elizabeth Quinn died on 20 July 2015 at Waterbury, Connecticut, at age 70.9 She was buried on 24 July 2015 at Waterbury, Connecticut, in a private burial.10
