     William F. Phelan resided in 1924 at 59 South View St., Waterbury, Connecticut, with his sister, Sadie, brother, Dennis and his uncle Daniel.26 Bill used to play the drums. He left a xylophone set at his nephew Ralph Phelan's house and Ralph used to go up to the attic to play them.6

     William F. Phelan died on 19 March 1937 at St. Mary's Hospital, Waterbury, Connecticut, at age 51 of carcinoma of the right lung and a secondary cause of terminal bronchopneumonia.5
     Bill was buried on 22 March 1937 at New St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterbury, Connecticut.5,31
