They were coming from Barrow-In-Furness, England, most likely so Beatrice could marry Bromley.2
     Beatrice Welch married John Bromley Smith, son of Seth Smith and Hannah Mary Rigg, on 28 January 1903 at 50 South Wilson Street, Waterbury, Connecticut. The couple was joined in marriage by Louis J. Holden, Assistant Pastor of the 2nd Congregational Church.1 Beatrice Welch and John Bromley Smith were divorced.
