S. Servia with his daughter, Beatrice and Mabel after the death of their mother. He was bringing them to stay with his wife's family in Sheffield, England.20

Littlehales, age 5, in the census of 1901 at Sheffield, Yorkshire, England,in the household of Joseph Chambers as his granddaughter.5 Beatrice Annie Littlehales resided in 1901 at 12 Norfolk Row, Sheffield, England, with her maternal grandmother, Sarah Chambers and her step grandfather, Joseph Chambers.5
     Beatrice Annie Littlehales appears as Beatrice Littlehales, age 15, in the census of 1911 at 202 Foxhill Road, Wadsley Bridge, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England,in the household of Sarah Whiteley as her granddaughter.21 Beatrice Annie Littlehales was found on a passenger list on 24 May 1912 at New York, New York, sailing from Liverpool, England on the S. S. Lusitania. (She is probably sailing home after having lived with her grandparents in England since the death of her mother in 1900.)2
     Beatrice Annie Littlehales, age 24, appears as a boarder in the census of 24 January 1920 in 33 Woodruff Street, Waterbury, Connecticut, in the household of Apauline Griebel, a deaconess in a parish. She was boarding with two other women in this household.7
     Beatrice Annie Littlehales, age 34, appears as head of household in the census of 4 April 1930 in the Bernard Apartments on Wilson Street, Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut.8 She married Reverend Richard Stanley Merrill Emrich on 23 November 1937 at the Chapel in St. George's Church, New York, New York. The marriage was performed by the Rev. Dr. Elmore McNeill McKee at 4:00 PM. Beatrice's sister, Mabel, was her attendant. The best man was Dr. Duncan Black Macdonald Emrich, a brother of the groom.22,9,1 According to Bernice Mahony Healey, Beatrice met her husband as a Sunday school teacher at St. John's Church. He was a minister and became a bishop in Michigan. Bernice did not know him. Bernice went to Sunday School at St. John's and made her communion there. Bernice didn't see Beatrice after the wedding.23 Beatrice Annie Littlehales and Reverend Richard Stanley Merrill Emrich were found on a passenger list on 20 June 1958 at Southampton, England, sailing from Montreal, Canada on the S. S. Ivernia for a two month stay in the UK.24
     Beatrice Annie Littlehales died on 4 February 1994 at Sun City, Arizona, at age 98.22 She was buried in 1994 at St. Paul's Cathedral, Detroit, Michigan, where her ashes are placed in a crypt.25
