     Mark Anthony Whelan married Mary Dee, daughter of John Dee and Bridget Drohan, in May 1941 at Manhattan, New York.15 Mark Anthony Whelan and Mary Dee resided on 27 January 1947 at 2680 Heath Avenue, Bronx, New York.16
     Mary died on 8 February 1947 at the House of Calvary Hospital, Bronx, New York, at age 41 from a brain tumor leaving Mark Anthony a widower.17
     Mark Anthony Whelan married Mary Elizabeth McGoldrick on 12 October 1949 at Manhahattan, New York.2
     Mark Anthony Whelan died on 29 July 1957 at New York, New York, at age 59.4,17 He was buried in 1957 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York.2
