Ned took her to her high school prom at the Glen Island Casino, New Rochelle in 1933. He proposed on Valentine's Day, 1937, and gave her a ring in September, 1938. Edward O'Connor married Kathleen Marie Begley, daughter of William Joseph Begley and Catherine McDonough, on 12 October 1939 at St. Francis Xavier Church.^1,3 Edward O'Connor was a police officer who obtained the rank of Sargeant at New York, New York.² He was employed by Irving Trust Company, working with transferrable securities between 1967 and 1974 at New York.²
     Edward O'Connor resided in 1983 at Bromley Place, Wyckoff, New Jersey.²
     Ned died on 26 March 1990 at Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, at age 80 due to complications from cancer.^2,3
