           Patrick Lehane was born in 1835 at Ireland.. He was baptized on 17 March 1835 at Ardmore Parish Church, Ardmore Parish, County Waterford, Ireland, by the Reverend J. O'Meara. Sponsors were William Fitzgerald and Ann Broderick.1

     Patrick Lehane married Mary Hely, daughter of Andrew Healy and Margaret Lonergan, on 12 November 1865 at Poltown Chapel, the townland of Drumgullane, Clashmore, County Waterford, Ireland. Witnesses to the marriage were Margaret Lehan (sister to the groom) and John Hely (brother to the bride.)8,2,9 Patrick Lehane was a labourer in January 1869 at Grallagh, County Waterford, Ireland.10 He was a labourer in 1872 at Ireland.11 He immigrated in 1881.12

     Patrick Lehane died on 1 November 1901 at 56 South Street, Waterbury, Connecticut, at age 66 from pneumonia and aedema of the lungs.15,16,17 He was buried in November 1901 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waterbury, Connecticut.15
