     Andrew Joseph Healy was baptized on 23 October 1904 at Saint Francis Xavier Church, Waterbury, Connecticut. Sponsors were Thomas Healey, his paternal uncle, and Catherine McCormack and he was baptized by John Fleming.1
     Andrew Joseph Healy appears as Joseph Healey, age 5, in the census of 27 April 1910 at South Main Street, Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut,in the household of Bartholomew J. Healy as his son, along with Catherine Healy, John Francis Healy, Margaret C. Healy, Thomas Patrick Healy and Bartholomew Raymond Healey; Bart's sister-in-law, Margaret Healey, age 21, also was enumerated as living with this family. She was from Ireland, immigrated in 1909 and was a bindmaster in the clock shop.2
     Andrew Joseph Healy appears as Andrew Healey, age 15, in the census of 6 January 1920 at 1867 South Main Street, Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut,in the household of Bartholomew J. Healy as his son, along with Catherine Healy, John Francis Healy, Margaret C. Healy, Thomas Patrick Healy and Bartholomew Raymond Healey.5
     Andrew was a salesman in confectionariation (sic) on 6 January 1920 at Waterbury, Connecticut.5
     Andrew was educated at St. Charles Seminary and graduated summa cum laude. He was the first man from his class to later become monsignor.6 He was also known as Father Joe Healey.10

     On 30 December 1939, Father Joe Healey officiated at the mass of Andrew John Healy, his nephew, at Saint Francis Xavier Church, Waterbury, Connecticut.12 Father Joe Healey was the priest officiating at Andrew John Healy's burial on 30 December 1939 at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury, Connecticut; Rev. Father Healey said the prayers at the grave, assisted by Rev. Father McTeague.13,12
     Father Joe Healey officiated at the marriage of Rita Mae Dostalerand Thomas Patrick Healy, his brother, on 23 April 1945 at St. Francis Xavier Church, Waterbury, Connecticut.14,15,16,17,18,19
     Andrew Joseph Healy was the priest officiating at his aunt Annie J. Healy's burial on 1 June 1959 at St. Bridget's Cemetery, Cheshire, Connecticut; Father Joe Healey, nephew, was the celebrant of the Mass held in St. Bridget's Church, Cheshire, Connecticut.20,21
     Father Joe Healey was the pastor at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Naugatuck, Connecticut, between 1965 and 1979.6,22 He was retired in October 1979 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Naugatuck, Connecticut. He was honored by friends and parishioners at a retirement party at the Castilian Room in Waterbury.23
     Father Joe Healey died on 14 March 1983 at Naugatuck, Connecticut, at age 78 from cancer.4,24,6 He was buried in March 1983 at Waterbury, Connecticut.6
