     Clara Ellen died on 7 May 1900 at 37 Welton Street, Waterbury, Connecticut, at age 35 from dysentery and heart failure leaving William Alfred a widower.2,36

     William Alfred Littlehales appears as William J. Littlehales, age 59, in the census of 5 January 1920 at Watertown, Litchfield, Connecticut,in the household of Charles Henry Littlehales as his brother.9   
     William Alfred Littlehales appears as William A. Littlehales, age 65, in the census of 14 April 1930 at Edgewood Road, Oakville, Connecticut,in the household of Charles Henry Littlehales as his brother.10   
     William Alfred Littlehales died on 14 February 1939 at Waterbury, Connecticut, at age 78.25,2 He was buried in February 1939 at Riverside Cemetery, Waterbury, Connecticut, Section C, Lot 183.37
