           Thomas Francis Hogan was born in December 1857 at Ireland..6,7 He was baptized on 20 December 1857 at Clashmore and Kinsalebeg Parishes, County Waterford, Ireland. Parents were: Teren or Tereatic (Latin) Hogan and Catherine Gorman (Shanacoole). Sponsors were John Riordan and Mary Power.8 He immigrated in 1882 from Ireland to the United States.1,2 He became a naturalized citizen of the United States.9
     Thomas Francis Hogan married Anna Lehan, daughter of Patrick Lehane and Mary Hely, on 25 August 1883 at Waterbury, Connecticut. (This registration has the bride's surname as Hely instead of Lehan. But there is no other Thomas Hogan who married an Ann or Annie in Waterbury. So, I think that this is the correct couple.)10,11,12,13,5

Hogan.1 In June 1900, 8 of 10 children of Thomas Francis Hogan and Anna Lehan were living.1 Thomas Francis Hogan was a day laborer in June 1900 at Waterbury, Connecticut.1
