This page shows the origins of my ancestors.

The first map shows the country of England.

My maternal grandmother, Bernice Mahony Healey's ancestors originated from Yorkshire, Lancashire, and Warwickshire Counties. The Mahonys, likely emigrés from Dublin, settled primarily in Sheffield. The Littlehales originated from Birmingham. The Smiths came from Penwortham and Leyland and later moved to Dalton-In-Furness. The Riggs came from Barrow-in-Furness.

The second map below shows the country of Ireland.

The Phelans, Hennessys, and Dwyers originated from here, but I have yet to find out which county. The Dawsons originated from County Westmeath from towns such as Baylin, Tubber, Mullingar, Mount Temple, etc. The Bergins came from Clonaslee, County Laois. The Healys, Drohans, and Dees originated from County Waterford from towns such as Upper Grallagh, Toor, Drumgullane, Ardmore, Dungarvan, etc.

To find these places on the map, take your mouse and hover over the red symbols and you'll see which ancestor once lived in that location. If you click on the symbol, additional information is included. The zoom scale on the left side of the map allows you to get a better look at the area.
