     Kathleen was a self-taught photographer who had a passion for photography and won numerous prizes for her photos. She was famous for taking hundreds of pictures of her nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, close friends, and children of friends, as well as her relatives in Ireland. She had a vast cache of photographic equipment incuding state-of-the-art cameras, lenses, filters, lights and screens to get the best shot. If not for her, there would not be as many pictures as there are of her family when they were little. She was as expert as any professional photographer today.23 She was never married.50,23
     Kathleen died on 3 October 1998 at Wolcott View Manor, Wolcott, Connecticut, at age 93.6,5,23 She was buried on 6 October 1998 at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury, Connecticut.5,35,23
