The 1930 census has Mildred Holdridge as the daughter of Amelia Roselius. Maybe having two Amelias was too confusing so she changed her name. Did she do so legally? Maybe they began giving her a nickname like Milly (close to Amelia) so it stuck and then she used the formal version of it??19 She was buried in April 1960 at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden, Connecticut. Her sister, Ella and her husband Raymond, are buried in this family plot also. She also went by the name of Millie.23,8 She was single.8
Amelia Boadle died on 12 April 1969 at Meriden, Connecticut, at age 79 Her name on the SSDI was Mildred Holdridge. Did Latham Holdridge formally adopt her?7,24
